The pain lined her face ever so slightly, but the experienced Volturi member hid it before Alice could take any notice of it. "I truly only knew him for 3 years, but that was back in... oh, the late 1700's." She explained nonchalantly, following Alice.

wow that is a long time" Alice spoke with question in her voice then said "Carlisle told us all storys of the 1700`s and his whole life till the day we meet....but he never said anything about you or any girl for that matter ...just Esme" ahe thought for a forth of a second hopeing that didnt hurt Cassandra in any way.

Cassandra smiled vaguely heart spluttering in pain. "That doesn't surprise me much..." She muttered, but remained smiling. "No, I wouldn't really be surprised if he forgot about me." She explained nonchlantly, even though she wished he hadn't. She would tell them all why Carlisle truly hadn't mentioned her when everyone was present, especially the doctor. Cassandra most certainly did not wish to be stuck in a room full of vampires who hate the Volturi when she was planning on telling the Cullens that she was one.

Carlisle pulled smoothly into th the gararge of the Cullen residance, "Ah home." he murmmerd to him self. Turnning of the sar he slid out fluidly. 'wonder if there back yet?' he pondered. He walked in the the door into the big white living room, he turrend to the stairs and dashed to his study. "I dont feel like working right now." he said running his hands through his silkey smooth blond hair. He turned around and staired at the paintings and photographs int the front wall of the study. Sticking his hands in his trouser pockets he drifted off into a daydream

alice spotted the house and the car in the garadge " here it is...and it looks like Carlisle is home now" she said to Cassandra. she whent up to the house then inside, "Carlisle im home" she said softy "and I found someone who wants to see you" she added as she looked at Cassandra and smiled slightly

If Cassandra didn't have to breathe, she would've passed out by now. Not only was this house too grand for Dr. Cullen in her opinion, but he was home. Right upstairs. Cassandra had no time to prepare. If he came down right at this moment, she could not predict what would happen. Would she burst into tears? Run out the door? Hug him and never leave this place? Her mind was running rampant and there was no use stopping it. Despite this, her violet eyes gazed up the stairs with a cool, collected 200-year-practiced mask, a small smile on her angelic face.

alice looked at Cassandra smiled then said "Well if anyone needs me I`ll be up in my room" then she went sraight up the stairs and into her`s and Jaspers room in less then a forth of a second
